| Description: | PETA stands for People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. I am all for animal rights and stuff but PETA comes across to me as something of a bully. Yes there are people out there who don't give a damn about animals or their welfare, but attacking them with red paint, illegal entry to premises and continuous mudslinging is not the way to go about making your point. Stinks of extremism, something which I will never support. They have the support of many celebrities which makes it easier for them to spend their massage across to the public. Yet they chose to do stunts. Their website is actually kind of toned down though and I think that is good. They have numerous articles and stories on animals and animal abuse, animal issues, what action to take if abuse is found and so on. Quite good information if you ask me. Oh if you want to help their cause, you can donate as well. |
