Maybe it is just my mind playing tricks on me, but well that is me. Anyway, Oakbrook Center is a shopping mall and it is one of the largest in the United States. But not just any shopping mall, this one is a bit upscale. So don't you try going there in your shorts and expect to be treated like royalty, understand? And we are talking about an open air concept, not your usual in door mega mall. Yes, at least something different. Not too shabby if you ask me. You don't find many open-air malls here. It has more about 160 stores, so with so many choices you should not get bored there. Honestly, I like the open-air concept better - indoor air conditioned malls are okay but they lack that European elegance that makes shopping in Italy or parts of Europe so much more enjoyable. |
