The thing I worry about propaganda is that it tends to get abused more often than not. That is why I am not too sure about this site. Yes, it is about the US Naval history and so on where you can get reproductions of old photographs, document reproductions for you to frame up and so on. You also get to see the leaders in the naval, civil and private industries. But its main aim is actually to influence the public about the importance of naval seapower in the United States. Well, at the moment, I think it is a good thing that people are well aware of that. We look at the news and we are greeted with displays of firepower from great warships. What can I say? Propaganda works. |
