Perhaps that is the reason why it is used - because you can't really point your finger at it. I guess as long as there is conflict and civilians are hurt in the process, then I think there is a crime against humanity. But you and I know that wars will always involve civilians and innocents will get hurt. I think the Aegis Trust is aiming for those bigger ones where large scale of people are involved. They provide research and support the people fighting against such crimes. Their "weapons" of choice include research, policy education, remembrance, media work, campaigns and humanitarian support for the victims. Don't forget there are victims and they deserve better. Support their cause through donations or by joining Aegis as a volunteer. |
