British Airways http://www.britishairways.com/ If you never heard of British Airways, what mountain do you live under? It is one of the most famous airlines in the world. They offer international flights in nearly every country around the world - connecting cities and people together. Like most airlines, their website now offers users to book or purchase tickets online, book hotels or cars, view the latest offers and allows users to manage their own bookings. They seek to provide a low-cost platform with a reasonable service to their customers.

Seat Guru http://www.seatguru.com/ Every time someone mentions the word "Guru", it reminds me of the show with the same name. Pretty exotic I must say. Anyway, this is basically a site which shows you the airline seating arrangement. The purpose? To allow you to choose the best seats on the airline. Or maybe you prefer somewhere away from the toilets? How about seats facing the gallery? Or you would like to have a seat near to the exit, just in case or because of the better legroom? And if you are a frequent flyer, then this is the site for you with tons of detailed information about the airline itself. It even gives you recommendation regarding the best and the worst seats on the plane. What better way is there to get the best seats than by checking out the comments by fellow passengers regarding the seats as well.

Cranky Flier http://crankyflier.com/ Just like that old guy on the plane sitting next to you complaining that the blanket they provided him is too thin. Yes, that is what Cranky Flier is all about. Seriously, this site is all about the airline industry, which have been bumping up and down like the Mexican highway recently. One moment they are expanding, the next they are crying like they lose their tail or something. The author of this site seems rather knowledgeable about the airline industry, giving us some in-depth comments and analysis which we probably would never have heard otherwise. And I didn't know that aeroplanes and airline pilots can be so very interesting. Only thing that I ever knew was that those air hostess makes or break the airline. It is still true, even after reading this blog with its confusing remarks and words.

Fly Cheapo http://www.flycheapo.com/ I don't know about you, but with a name like Fly Cheapo, it might not get the real attention it desires. But sometimes names get stuck and you can't do much about it. Anyway, this is a pretty good site for travelers. And underneath it all, there is a very impressive database of low cost flights and tickets available. Sure, its interface is crappy but at least it is easy to use. Just choose the destination you want and you will find all the budget tickets you ever wanted. However, they currently only caters to European destinations, which is great since European flights are probably the most expensive. Every bit helps if you are on a budget. I would rather spend my money enjoying the actual European trip (like shopping) than on airlines. As long it gets me to my destination, I am happy.

Air Gorilla http://www.airgorilla.com/ "Gorilla Gorilla, tis a kiss I beg, Why art thou coy?" With a name like that, who dares to go near this site? Might even take a chunk off your face if you go anywhere near it. But seriously, this site is all about finding the best deal in air travel (and more). Have a go at their online airfare system - all you need to do is to key in your location and your destination and you will be presented with the best airfares available. They have discounts and offers on car rentals, lodging and cruises for their customers as well. I mean, what is travel without all the rest? The reason why their prices are so low - they have a huge network of tour operators behind them. Whatever, as long as we get what we paid for. Oh, if you would trust a site peddling cheap tickets, they have numerous travel guides as well.
