Basically they have all of the facts and statistics of all the countries in the world. Well, all the publicly available information that is. If it is not available publicly, they can't get it and if they can't get it, they can't show it to you. But what is cool about this is that you don't have to visit different websites to get the answers you want. Just one - NationMaster.They also contain numerous interesting facts regarding the countries. Actually it is quite fun to read them. Did you know that in certain countries, you could be jailed if you don't go vote? Oh, and you can also compare statistics between different countries, so you can arguing which country is better over the Internet. And if you are really very free, they have over a million articles achieved for your reading pleasure.

Sure why not. Knowing a little about our own history is very important. If not, then what is the point of living? If you don't learn from our past mistakes, then we are bound to be making the same mistakes time and time again. We would certainly be in trouble. So yes, I kind of agree that we should all be reading a little about our history. And it is good general knowledge as well. HistoryWorld is a good site to do just that - it offers timelines and you can easily search through their site for more information. Sometimes I would just browse through whatever they have featured on the front page. Hey, it can be very interesting. Time to stop reading about Lady Gaga and whoever and start getting some history into our brains!

Geeks? No, it is interesting. I know that history isn't exactly the most glamorous subject right now but come on, history is interesting. Just look at how we have "evolved" and changed throughout the centuries. I mean without understanding history we all would probably be living back in the dark ages and not realizing that our answers also lies in the past. Why? Well, because we learn from our mistakes. If we don't learn, then we will bound to be making the same mistakes time and again. And we will fail, time and again. Anyway, this project is a collection of history articles and they are arranged by timeline or by geographical locations. The good point about having numerous different authors is that you do get a more complete picture of history, instead of just from one person's point of view. By the way, judging from the amount of content in this site, you might find yourself spending hours and hours on this site.
