Columbus Library is one of the largest libraries in America. Started in 1873 to provide reading materials for the community, they have expanded to over 20 branches and with 3 million items in their collection. With millions of visitors and transactions, they are the ultimate resource for knowledge. They offer services like summer reading groups, English for speakers of other languages,community events, free access to information and databases and much more. Their objective is "to promote reading and guide learning in the pursuit of information, knowledge, and wisdom". Reading is important, thus libraries are important.
