They hope to develope such standards and protocols that ensure that the growth of web is sustained. They make use of "recommendations" and promotes it through education and training and even creates software for it. They also promotes open standards which serves to protect all interested parties. WWWC uses "working groups" made up of members, the team and even experts in the field to setup such recommendations. | Mozilla Foundation This non-profit foundation provides support for all Mozilla projects including Firefox, SeaMonkey, Bugzilla and Thunderbird. It was founded in July 2003 with support from AOL. It sets guidelines and standards and controls trademarks and other intellectual property rights(including legal matters). It also manages the funds and contributions from contributors.
