We have seen the logos everywhere - in our household appliances and products. It is supposed to tell us that these items are certified to be "energy efficient" and safe to use at home. For computer products, items with this logo is supposed to use 20-30% less energy than what is recommended by the government. Many countries have since adopted this US standard and they claimed that it has saved billions in energy costs. Well, hopefully it is true. Considering that global warming and fuel depletion is fast becoming a serious problem for the entire world, I hope that we will all be energy efficient.

U.S. Bureau Of Labor Statistics is the fact finding agency for the Federal government. in the field of labor economics and statistics. Basically they provide surveys and information on the labor market. Their mission is to produce accurate, impartial and timely data to help the Federal government understand more on the labor condition. They offer information on employment, unemployment, inflation, spending, pay, productivity among others with stats like the Consumer Price Index(CPI), Unemployment Rate, Producer Price Index(PPI), Employment Price Index(EPI) and so on. They also publish a wide array of labor related publications.
