Great Clips http://www.greatclips.com/ Need a great haircut at a great price? Don't need all the fuss that comes with various hair salons? Want to have your hair cut fast and nice? Well, then Great Clips is the place you should go to have your hair done up neat. And they have over 3000 locations, so you don't need to worry about not being able to find one nearby. You can spot their store with the big sign that states "Great Clips". Although you can enjoy their services without an appointment, they have started an appointment service to ensure better service for all. Other than just hair cuts and styling, they sell various hair-care products in their store as well. People tend to worry about their hair only at hair salons it seems. Their stores are great for people who do not want to spend a lot of money on hair styling. But it is not to say that the quality of their cuts are bad either.

Joy Of Baking http://www.joyofbaking.com/ You like baking stuff - like cakes or breads? One of the best thing about living just above a bakery is the smell - wonderful every morning when the baker below starts his baking. Although it might seem rather complicated, baking isn't that difficult. It does require several dedicated equipment and good measurement accessories. Baking usually isn't about "gut feeling" like other food but careful measurement of ingredients. Anyway, check out Joy Of Baking. It contains tons of recipes which you can try out like banana bread, apple crisp, chocolate chip cookies, red velvet cake, vanilla cupcakes, pumpkin pie, apple pie, Meringue Ghost and so on. Some even comes with video for those who aren't into words. It isn't called the joy of baking for nothing right?

Smitten Kitchen http://smittenkitchen.com/ Probably one of the best food blogs out there. If you are interested in slightly over-the-top comfort food, why not check out this blog. All posts are complete with photos that make you drool and wish that you had the cooking (and photography) skills that the authour has. Don't worry, each drooling posts comes with the full recipe so that you can have a try on your own. I have to admit though, I have never done a single one of the authour's recipe. Not because I don't want to but because it can be a little complicated and I don't have the skills. But if you have the time, you might want to try them out. And the website is beautifully designed as well. Gives you that home-made feeling. And they claim that everything is done is a small little kitchen. So if you have a small kitchen and think that you can't do anything with it, try again.

The Reluctant Gourmet http://www.reluctantgourmet.com/ Not very sure this is a gourmet site or not, but I know it is a cooking site. I know the author isn't a chef or anything but I think most of us aren't keen to become a chef. We just want to cook some good food for our families (or for ourselves if single) right? I also do not want to spend like hundreds of dollars cooking a single meal when I could have the same desired result with ten dollars. Most of us can't afford that anyway. So yes, this little blog is quite interesting - recipes, how to cook, techniques, what tools to use, what pantry to keep and so on. All practical for people like us and me. And I think learning to cook is fun, fulfilling and you get lots of friends. Of course for lazy people like me, I think I will just skip down to the deli and have my lunch.
