It is like some sort of dictionary for file extensions. So for example, the "mdi" file extension could possibly mean that it is a Microsoft Document Imaging document and can be opened by Microsoft Office's Imaging program. Lo and behold, it works. Extremely useful to have this site in your bookmark for emergencies. You will never know when you will get such files and you don't want to look silly to your customers or friends right? |

| Computer Programming Algorithms Directory http://www.algosort.com/ Wow, this is a directory of programming algorithms. Note this is not a directory of programming languages but of programming algorithms. Programming algorithms means the methodology of programming - how it is coded and not the type of language used. You do know that programming is not just one way right? There are numerous ways to code something. I look at this directory and I immediately understood why I quit programming. During my younger days, I dabbled in programming but honestly, you got to be specialized or you will easily be left behind. So I quit and become a IT technical. Much better and I don't lose all my hair. Anyway, if you a software designer or team leader and you are facing all sorts of problems, you might want to check out one of these programming algorithms. |
