Slashdot is a site especially for technology news, meant for "Geeks". With information on the latest happenings on the technology and software front, Slashdot has a readership into the tens of thousands per day. You can submit articles or stories easily with their submission system. Users can then comment on the articles they like, but all comments and even submissions are moderated to prevent abuse. To simplify access, Slashdot also provides feeds for their viewers. They have a subscription plan to get rid of advertisements as well.
