Cambridge University Press or CUP for short has been the publishing arm of the University of Cambridge. yes, it makes since since the word Cambridge appears in both of them. They deal mainly in research, educational and all those books which nobody really reads out of universities. Heck, I am pretty sure that a lot of university students never even heard of CUP during their student years. I know that they print serious stuff but if nobody reads them, what is the point? Too many Lady Gagas out there trying to distract us from the serious stuff. But what is surprising is that CUP is a not for profit organization and any money earned from the sales or publications will be returned to the university. I kind of like that.
