I didn't know that Nivea is a German brand. Always thought that beauty products will always come from France or Italy. Didn't know even the Germans can make such stuff. If you have no idea what Nivea is or what they do, let me enlighten you. They manufacture and sell skin care products for the ladies. So if you have rather rough skin for working in the nice air-conditioned office everyday, try their products to make your skin smoother, silkier and more radiant. Their products include skin care, bath care, lip care like shampoos, facial toners, lip gloss, cream, moisturizers, eye shadow, lipstick, face powder and so on. They even have a range of skin care products for men. I think they also sell hair removal products. Hair removal products always fascinates me. I often wonder why anyone would spend so much effort, time and money to remove their body hairs.

An extremely popular brand of cosmetics among the rich, the affluent and the different. But unlike most other brands, Urban Decay cosmetics do not conform to the norm and they claim they hate pink. I don't know why they hate pink, I actually like pink, especially on women. But then I am old and old-fashioned. These group of forward thinking makeup people created an alternative cosmetic line to the regular ones. So instead of the cutesy colours, they carry other alternative colours like maybe smog and rust. or they can simply stand outside their apartments and get collect some of those smog for free. By the way, Urban Decay also loves animals. That is why they don't do animal testing for the products. I guess they only use human.

They are based in the United States but their products are sold worldwide. Of course they do. Beauty products are one of the most popular products nearly everywhere in the world. Shows you that the world is vain and artificial, no matter how destitute or rural they seem. Ahh....look at poor little me with my rough sun-burnt skin.

You might think that they are from France but this is actually a Japanese company. Perhaps they think that if consumers believe that they are from France, they would sell more, since the Frenchies are considered one of the top-most in fashion and beauty? Well, whatever the reason is, Biore is one of the most popular retailer of beauty products in the world, especially in the Asia market. They made famous the pore strips. Only the Japanese would make it fashionable for women to stick white strips on their nose. Their product lineup includes cleansers, scrubs, pore strips, moisturizers, eye cream, exfoliator and stuff which I have no idea what they mean. Basically skincare products which women (and increasing men) love to apply on their faces every morning. That way, you have to wait for like hours to use the bathroom. And I discovered that looking good is indeed big business.
