| Dr. Martens http://www.drmartens.com/ More commonly known as Doc Martens. They are a "traditional" shoes manufacturer. Not sure what traditional shoes mean? Well, their shoes are kind of classic in design and leaning towards old school, especially with those weird stitches. They are also supposed to be very comfortable to wear since they have this air-cushion sole in them. Anyway, they have since expanded to include clothing and luggage. I mean who can survive in this competitive field by just selling shoes alone. And we are not talking about sports shoes which is more popular but for both casual and business wear. For me, I don't fancy their design but judging from the huge office crowd whom nearly everyone wears or at least owns a Doc Martens shoe, I should be the odd one out. I think their design looks a bit old and completely outdated. But that's just me. |

If you would like to look good when meeting your clients or if you need to impress your boss, then this clothing line should be in your sight. Nothing speaks louder and more distinct than wearing a Paul Smith suit. Even a commoner like me would be willing to trade one of my arms for a Paul Smith suit. However if you are looking for a more flashy kind of suit, you should look elsewhere. Their clothing is in the more traditional style although definitely with a few more modern touches here and there. Oh, they also retail accessories like cufflinks, ties, bags, wallets, scarves and so on. Recently they have added a women's line and a children line as well. They have casual wear, active wear and even sportswear now. Of course they are still famous for their suits and elegant wear. |

| Aventura Mall http://www.aventuramall.com/ You love shopping, yes? But you don't want to mix with the lesser peoples from some rural part with their uncouth language and poor taste in fashion? I know, they dirty the place and makes everything so low class right? Well, then you have Aventura Mall where big egos can be stroked continuously. This is an upscale shopping complex where you have all the big names under one roof. Life is always great for the rich. It is supposed to be one of the largest shopping malls in the United States, which would mean quite a lot of Americans are indeed rich. It was opened in 1983 and has over 300 stores. Yup, you will not get bored there with so many stores to choose from. Too bad that their food court has fast food though. We rich upscale people don't eat fast food. | Charles & Keith http://www.charleskeith.com It seems that the females of our species love shoes. I don't get it though. Sure you do look in nice looking shoes but what is that obsession all about? You put them on your feet and you walk on them. That's it. Why is there a need to have a shoe for every occasion and for every kind of weather and change a new pair the day? We will never understand women. Anyway, Charles & Keith has recently become very popular with the ladies and their footwear seemed to be hot items. They started out in Singapore and they have since expanded to over 300 stores in 26 countries, mostly in Asia and Middle East. Yes, women there do love their footwear so this does not come as a surprise. They have started plans to expand to the United States and Europe. | Radley London http://www.radley.co.uk/ Hmm....a British brand that is "hip" and "trendy" and does not take itself too seriously? What happened to my good old jolly England. Has it lose its appeal to be the most snobbish country in the world next to the French? I mean when I visit England I want to see stuck-up people with those arrogant chins looking at me, disgusted that I have invade their country. Sadly all these are about to change, as you can see by this quirky company. They make a different sort of handbags, shoes and accessories. Although I won't say they are that radiant, but their neat and stylish designs makes them stand out. I love their umbrellas by the way. They even have a range of accessories for man. The Frenchies should love those accessories. Anyway, check out their designs on their website. Not too shabby. |
