American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) is a US based organization for helping photographers. It is sort of like a community of photographers helping other photographers. Americans For The Arts (AFTA) is a US based organization whose sole purpose is to further the advancement of arts in America. This non-profit organziation supports and creates opportunity for Americans in all walks of life to take part and enjoy art. They have support from governmental agencies, small and major businesses, educators and other individuals in the country. National Press Photographers Association (NPAA) is an international organization which is dedicated to the cause of advancement of photojournalism.
