UNESCO's World Heritage is a organization which helps countries protect their natural and cultural heritage. It comprises of different countries and it encourages countries to nominate their own sites within their borders into the World Heritage List. Their main aim is to protect, conserve and promote such sites which has significant cultural, historical and social values. They also offer assistance if such a site is under threat by offering funds, expertise and professional to keepers of such sites.
